Whats the exact method? and is there anything else related to this that we have to know?

Im assuming this is the secondary sources investigation to "describe a methodology in cloning", I chose to describe therapeutic cloning for organ transplants or for the treatment of diseases

1. DNA is extracted from affected patient
2. DNA is inserted into a donated enucleated egg (nucleus has been removed) and is induced to divide by mitosis through electrical propagation
3. the resultant bundle of cells forms an embryo and stem cells are removed
4. Tissue/organ is grown from stem cells

but cloning for any purpose involving animals basically has the same methodology of removing DNA from one source and implanting it in an unfertilised, enucleated egg cell where its stimulated to divide. after that the egg could be implanted into the uterus of a surrogate mother for instance for whole organism cloning, or it could be used for analysis etc.

plant cloning usually just uses the stem of a short section of the plant, dipped in root-growth hormones and planted into the soil, which becomes a clone of the identical plant. Tissue culture technology is also being used.

Btw, the process of animal cloning is called nuclear transfer technology.

Transgenesis = Transgenic species? If so:

1. Use restriction enzymes to cut the required gene from the organism, use the same enzyme to cut the host DNA so as to create 'sticky ends'
2. create recombinant DNA by allowing these two to fuse
3. Decide on how to implement the DNA back into the host
a) viral vector - use a virus with the DNA to infect the host
b) inject the DNA
c) if it's a bacterial cell, just place the plasmid back into the cell
d) micro dna pellet gun (lol read it somewhere)
