In a question in my biology assessment it asks.

You were asked to gather, process ad analyse the information. HOW did you process the information? (2 Marks)

How would you go about answering this question. What exactly does it mean to process information. Is that like just reading it and comparing it to other sources of the same information?

Pleas help i know it sounds dumb but please help.

It means how you play around with the info you found. Did you table it? did you put it in excel? in ms words? summarise? ...etc.

I thought it was 'processing' the information to evaluate the reliability, validity and accuracy of it.
