Don't worry about it - your hsc isn't till next year so you've got plenty of time to learn it in class or from your tutor. Just make sure you rote learn it though, it's way too hard to do it properly.

If you can find something wrong with Jiang's work you might still be able to, he is very highly respected in the mathematical community though so it is probably safest to not.
