How long should proposals be? my teacher said roughly 1000-2000 words and use headings. What headings would you use? my intention was to just do: 1. Topic area/research progress 2. question 3. methodology

1000-2000 words for the proposal seems a bit long as the final essay is only 2500.

The BOS says this about the Proposal:

The proposal should contain:

• description of preliminary research
• enquiry questions
• research intentions in relation to
– areas/texts to examine
– methodology.
