psyc1001 and wam?? (1 Viewer)

anyone done this course and knows if it would be hard to get distinctions in? theres alot of contact hours and i enrolled but am wondering if its worth it

I did the course 2017 sem 1 and i dont think its a wam booster if youre looking for something like that. It requires quite a bit of effort tbh. The content isnt that hard but theres a LOT of memorisation and rote learning, not to mention that the midsem and finals have questions that can test you on literally anything the lectures say. In terms of contact hours, lecturers arent compulsory to attend but you need to watch them regardless and theres 1hr of tutes every week. I'd say around a 7/10 to get a HD only becuase the content is not hard but theres too much of it.

didnt do psyc1001 but i did a similar psyc course and although its easy there is a shit ton of rote learning needed, and as mentioned above they can test u on the most useless stuff that is mentioned in 1 sentence in some random slide.

Basically its nearly impossible to fail but effort is needed to even get a D
