so there are people saying that x= 1/2 but I got x=1/2(lnm/2)? So what's the correct solution? and yes i did get m=2e for the next part with my answer.

mmm you got x in terms of m. for the marks its worth (3) i think they wanted you to eliminate m and actually find the coordinates of P (without m). if they wanted you to leave it in terms of m, then the working out would've been too simple and surely not worth 3 marks

^Yeah i did what you dude, i had 'P' in terms of 'm', because the part iii said find 'm'.

Yeah I had that answer too and the same thinking process, whereby it said "find m" in the next part, so finding something in terms of m sounded right. It's also confirmed that both are correct, it's just whether the BOS accepts our answer - tbh since they were slightly ambiguous we should be awarded the 3 marks...
