If in one year everyone doing the HSC does extremely well is it possible to get more than 50 99.95's?
Only the top 50 students get 99.95, afaik, so if 100 people get full marks in their exams do they all get 99.95?

Theoretically yes because the ATAR is merely a rank determined by your aggregate score. So, let's say the highest aggregate is 486, then if 100 students are sitting perfectly on 486, then they should all achieve 99.95 (unless there is some clause I haven't read which states otherwise). But in reality, this is not ever likely to occur.

If that was to happen, would it be more likely for lower scores to then occur? If alot of high ranks are given out?

If 100 students get .95 does that mean no one gets .90? Because the person that gets 485 is now ranked 101st meaning he gets 99.85?

I'm only speculating, but I would say that's right. It's all very theoretical, and I don't think UAC will ever encounter such a situation, hence why we can only speculate.
