I justed did my maths extension 1 exam today and i was wondering about atar so... decided to play around with this atar calculator

http://www.atarcalculator.com.au/

When I inputted 93 HSC mark it says I get 99.95 atar

Is this plausble?

If so, what advantage would there be obaining say 99 HSC mark over a 93 HSC mark in terms of scaling?

Nothing haha, it's better to be an all rounder than just focus on maths.
I THINK, not 100%, just what I have been told haha

yeah depends on the subjects you do and how they scale (some scale better than others, mx2 and stuff actually scale up etc...)

Just do your best and stop worrying about scaling, it's not in your hands.

Allrounder is also better, unless you rape the crap out of mx2 and are also relatively allroundered (lol fail word)
