Hey guys, um.. any of you veteran nightlifers out there care to give me some advise on good, unique places to go for a date on friday nights? (like after 8 til late). Looking to go somewhere special tomorrow cause we've already gone to movies, restrauents, nightclubs etc. (actually i've never been a real fan of nightclubs), so like anywhere good to go in the city would be great. er.. so far I've come up with that restrauent near the Opera House and just a walk around there with the night harbour view.

If you have any better ideas, it'd be much appreciated. :)

PS: why do you have so much trouble spelling 'restaurant?'
if you're referring to me, haha, its something I've never been able to fix since the dawn of time. <3 microsoft word and automatic change.

But threadstarter's version is worse :p

Hey guys, thanks for the input.

So I dunno, probably stick to the Opera House plan, maybe go to Darling Harbour afterz? emmm... Has anyone been to that restaurant (lol!) /bar near the Opera House before? Yeah, it looks pretty expensive, but I'll be taking my cards so I have a pretty big budget for the night. Also, hopefully my boy will bring cash along! ha! :)

That place under the opera house is pretty nice, always has cool funky music, acid jazz and the like.

Nice crowd, relaxed atmosphere and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the location.

I have recently started going to bar 333 a little also when I want to hang out and chill and chat. The crowd is a little bit older, young business men and the like, but the music is good and the atmosphere is really good for just chilling and having a chat. The prices are fairly dear though.

When i was going out with an ex we went to the old soup plus a fwe times, that was pretty cool, but is gone now, so doesn't help you at all.

But yeah, I quite like that place under the opera house, you can also go for a stroll around the harbour and along the edge of the bot gardens which is tres romantic.

Ahh, i miss romance...
