so i have an exam for a subject ive wanted to drop for a while (but my school wont allow me to now cos i have 12 units rn but i can drop it beginning of term 1 next year) on wednesday. but i wasnt planning on going to school tmrw for various reasons and bcus of the "cant be away one day before a task" policy does this mean id have to go? like if i drop it it wouldnt even matter right cos eco wouldnt even go towards my report or ness studsbt online thing or anything?

If your school has an illness or misadventure form, you just gotta fill it in and give some evidence with the reason you had to miss school (like a signed note from your parent or a doctors certificate)
good luck in the exam whether you drop the subject or not!
