I'm an international student and I received offer from:
Bachelor of Commerce-------UNSW and Melb U

I am doing internship in financial firm now and I find I love subjects about health science especially physiotherapy instead of commerce.
I got 4A (Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Chinese) and 1B (FurtherMaths) in GCE A-level and only 6.5 in IELTS:(
I can't apply for other physio degree in other g08 uni because of my IELTS score
Is it possible to get into physiotherapy in USYD with this results and is there any vacancy now?
Also, if I can't study physio, which degree should I get in in order to transfer to physio after year 1 without deferring(e.g. OT, Exercise) ?
I know my English is very bad but hope you can understand it and Help me!!!!
Cheers!!!:inlove::inlove:

With a 6.5 in IELTS, You're really going to struggle at university. The best thing I think you can do is do a TAFE course in a similar area to learn some relevant stuff and get a better grasp on your English speaking and writing. I've seen international students struggle with their studies because they don't understand everything and it must be frustrating.

I would recommend something like health services assistance at TAFE. It would mean that you wouldn't be able to go to uni straight away but when you sit IELTS again it should be better and you'll be able to cope with uni better.

Another thing that is really good for getting better with your English is to Join Toastmasters. It's a public speaking club and is perfect for helping people not only read and write English but speak it clearly too. Google Toastmasters International and find your nearest club. :)
