Can I please have help with this question? (Thank you!)
1. 2004 3(b)
Question:
P(x) = (x+1)(x-3)Q(x) + 3(x+1) - 11
What is the remainder when P(x) is divided by (x+1)(x-3)?
Answer:
The remainder is 3(x+1) - 11 - but why?
