with a normal eqaution ax^2+by+c , if you have a fraction eg: 0=6t^2/5 + 4t + 5 or 5= 1/2r^2 * 4, how do you know if you times the left by the denominator or both the left and right, not only for this question but in general thanks.

Everything so both left and right, 0=6t^2/5+4t+5. Get rid of the denominator multiply throughout by 5, 0=6t^2+20t+25
