I'm writing an essay up right now for my assessment task...

I was just wondering about the amount of my prescribed text and amount of ORTs... In yr 11 I was told to have equal amounts of both, but all yr 11 essays was either 2 picked presribed and 2 ORTs or 2 prescribed texts only.

So, right now I'm doing one with 1 prescribed text and 2 ORTS.

Should I do half on the prescribed text, and half on ORTS? (as in 1/4 each)

or go more in the direction of 1/3 of each? (will still focus abit more on prescribed, but more on ORTS)

really? i was always told half on the prescribed text and half on your 2 related texts.

the 60/40 split would be more appropriate if you only had one related text.

i was always told 60/40. so thats what i did all through year 11 and i checked with my teacher this year and she aswell told me 60/40
