it was harder than 2009. and probably the hardest since 2003 (apart from 08)

Average, q8 threw people off but other than that...

I actually thought it was one of the easier ones. Just Q8 was annoying, and just looking at it makes you want to give up.

Paper overall was pretty decent, q8 was scary, (a) - (j), did not bother attempt it lol

i though it was very easy lol....only one mark in q8 was bad for me last yr when i did it, but i didn't get to finish the last few parts cause i wasted time in other sections

but for some reason it took much longer than usual

i spent 20 min on q1

and only had 10 min left after finishing q7

gotta work on time management

gosh i wish i did more past papers before

i'm gonna skimp on using a compass and do all my circles freehand

not even gonna use a ruler for axes

My friend did his paper in 2010. He found it easy, but made some silly mistakes in Q8 so he lost a few marks there.

yeh even though the paper was pretty easy the problem was it was lengthy, which i think will be a recurring theme

I didn't think Q8 of 2010 was that bad, one of the easiest Q8's I though - the topic suited me though, all up to preference.

Not all of us are >.< I've never gotten above 90 in a past paper, but some people here do regularly get 100+ quite easily.

2010 was relatively easy, Q8 was long but not hard, the sheer long-ness put lots of people off. That's what people said at the toilets last year when they were collecting papers LOL

I enjoyed the 2010 paper...got 104-107 or something. This year though...good lord, doubt I will get an E4

yeah far out I wish I had done the hsc last year, I thought english advanced and maths ext 2 were considerably easier than this years papers

i think this year's 4u was about the same as last year's. 2010 paper involved more thinking about how to get the solution (wtih some quite left-field questions) whereas 2011 requires far more working for each question. They balance each other out.
