Don't get that much ram. I think you would be better off only getting 4 gb (or 6 gb if i7) and spending the remaining cash on a more expensive gfx card, like a HD4850 or GTX285.

If its i7 then you can't get 8 gb ram anyway i dont think. i7 can only work with tri channel ram which means three ram sticks and i think it only comes in 3, 6 and 12 gb sizes. If you go 8 gb you must be getting some ddr2 dual channel stuff which won't work.

Even idle my shitty computer uses most of my ram.
Im thinkin about upgrading my comp.
Ive got 1gb ram and an 8600gt.Should i buy a new graphics card or some more ram.
