I'm pretty sure it was the episode with the restaurant "The Secret Garden" with the French chef who was really stubborn. It was a Kitchen Nightmares USA episode.

I'm disappointed slightly that the American episodes aren't being aired - their restaurants are filthier, their food shittier and the attitude stuck up higher in the ass than some of the British restaurants.

i know i love it! he is so damn cruel but so good at his job...in the end they all generally end up being better organised restaurants its a great show!!

It may make a good show but his attitude as an employer is disgraceful. It is only going to result in high levels of turnover, high levels of absenteeism and lower productivity levels in the long term if he does that in real life to his employees.

Funnily enough, in his actual restaurant, many of Gordon's staff have been with him for more than 10 years.

If you do something good, he recognises it. If you fuck up, he tells you in no uncertain terms.

So he's a good employer if you're good at your job.
