Hey guys,
I was curious if i wanted an atar of 98+
what ranks would i need in a school ranked in the top 70's?

I do Chem, eco, pe, 2 & 3 unit maths and eng

and if i picked up 4 unit maths in yr 12?

Pretty good ranks. At a guess I'd say top 5-10 depending how large each of your classes are, but it really depends on how many in your grade, and what kind of marks other people in your grade are getting.

well roughly how many people tend to get an atar above 98? While each grade changes, that can be an indication of where you want to be.

If only 2 people in your grade get above 98, then you'll obviously need to be in the top 2 or 3 for each of your subjects, but if 50 people get above 98, then if you're in the top 40ish for each of your subjects, you'll be fine. It all depends on your grade!
