Hey so if u rank 2 and get 90 in HSC, but rank 1 gets 10, and everyone else less than 10 LOL, u dont get 90 Exam Mark and 10 Assessment mark right? U get more like 60 assessment mark isnt it? Cos that would be ridiculous to just literally MATCH UP the mark to the rank...

You get 90 as your external mark.
Your moderated assessment mark isn't matched with the second highest external mark, the relative internal gaps are taken into consideration

If the first rank person got 10 in the exam, and his internals are usually 80-90 he would be considered an outlier by the Board, and not counted in the relative gaps for moderation.
