Seems so. Also I wouldn't compare USyd/UNSW with Melb/Monash. Different cities. Honestly Melb ppl face no competition. If you're from Melb Law School you're set. Your only competition is Monash.

If you're from USyd/UNSW, you still need to compete with all the Melb/Monash/UWA/UQ/ANU etc people who want to go to Sydney. No one wants to go to Melb.
