chem is the best scaled subject

Excellent ranks. But that is incorrect. The highest scaling subject from 2007's HSC was Extension 2 Mathematics I believe.

Yeah, I guess it really depends on where you're from. My grade has about 210 people, so personally, I'd find it a bit strange going into a cohort of 20 (or less, as is experienced by some people who don't live in metropolitan Sydney).

And yes, MX2 (or MX1 =\) was the top scaling subject (think it's MX2 though). The other one came second, I think.

That's terrible. If you have a small cohort it's going to mean that they won't offer as many courses.
