really?
are you sure a raw mark of 70...aligns you to band 5?!

but i thought your raw mark in eco will basically be your aligned mark?!

anyone know the aligned/raw/scaled/any other bs mark which gets u a band 6? and hearing economics being one of the highest scaled non-extension, non-language subjects, what sort of scaling are we looking at for band 5-6?

I have a feeling that raw marks are fairly close to your aligned marks. I got an aligned exam mark of 91 last year, after 18/20 in the MC and probably close to full marks on the short answer. In any case, its really impossible to tell wat raw marks translate into wat aligned marks

In terms of scaling, visit the UAI Technical forum, or this site's main page under UAI/HSC Marks and view the scaled means

Well, I think the lower marks are aligned to alot higher marks... for example, 70 to somewhere in 80s. It's like mappin' marks from say 70 to 90 into 80 to 90,as an example.
