Hey guys, customer support told me that if i want to re-format my windows, I can find the file in my hard drive, but the problem is i forgot to ask them where is it located that is specfic location.

I dont know where where to begin, and I can be stuffed ringing them and waiting on the line. I have a laptop, one of those new ones.

thanks for all the help...

Backup everything you need to keep to external hard drive, dvds whatever.

It's been a while since I formatted my computer in Vista so this is from memory.

Your computer should have come with a Windows Vista recovery DVD. Insert this disc. Just follow the prompts to install Vista but when you get up to picking the hard drive you want to install it on, select the format button. This should format your hard drive.

Then install Vista and any other programs you want (word, excel, games etc). and copy back your work etc that you backed up. As long as everthing important is backed up, you should be fine.
