Hey, I have this assessment task to do and I have no idea what to do for it so I was wondering if anyone could please help me out with this one point:

"What are the properties of semiconductors?"

I have searched endlessly in google and other such search engines but I don't have a clue what I am looking for nor at so any help that anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks for that!! That helps to a certain extent but I'm still not sure as to what I am required to list in terms of the properties of semiconductors. I mean, is there a list specifically listing the properties themselves?

I know that I probably sound heaps stupid but this really isn't my best subject and I just can't figure out what I'm supposed to be looking for!! I think I might have to go see my teacher!!

I don't really think that there is a set list but you can make one yourself.

Ask yourself what is a semiconductor. Make a list of all things that make a superconductor. Write down how this differs from a normal conductor.

For eaxample a semiconductor is a semi-metal or metalliod for example silicon or germanium, whereas a normal conductor is any metal. Or write how a semi-metal's structure differs, ect.

Oh ok! I guess that solves it. This is one of those times when I really wish I could back in time and reconsider choosing physics. Anyway thanks for all your help, it's really appreciated.
