Well there is only one version the US one and i dont think its franchisable (is that a word? lol). still an oz version would be kool. just make sure you get qualified ppl on the show (unlike oz survivor)

Fourth time actually.. It's almost funny how rapidly Scott Cain (Popstars III winner) vanished from the music scene.. Hosting a morning show on The Disney Channel now, I believe. Perhaps it is better to burn out rather than fade away.

I also believe that the Australian Idol thing was just a cheap way of scheduling programming, seeing that most people would have been watching the rugby union.

The real problem with reality tv (Besides all the others), is that due to it's overall focus on the 'winner' of the program, to the exclusion of other factors, the programs become instantly dated and pointless as soon as the suspense has been lost. Sad but true.

Yeah I no. Some of the singers were pretty good, but all-in-all I think Australian Idol was set-out better and had more talented singers, in the top 6 that is.

my cousins have pay tv and they only connected their tv antenna to the pay tv cable or something, so therefore they can only watch pay tv...

i think idol looks for a different kind of talent. less image, more singing talent.
