Hello, what are the first electives you guys would recommend for civil engineering?

Personally I went for MINE1010 & SOLA1070. No labs/no tutes & pretty interesting too. And MINE1010 is completely online for sem2 and summer. Both appealed to me just because there wasn't a lot of contact hours.

I did MINE1010 and ENGG1400. They were both terrible imo

Go for something that interests you

did MATS1101 and ENGG1400, 1400 is an easy HD, MATS1101 was boring af, so much multiple choice but this will help you slightly in your 2nd year courses I'm pretty sure from what I've read

Would recommend easier electives that may act as WAM boosters e.g. CEIC1000, which doesn't have a final.
