hi i used the breakfast club as one of my related text for my essay
it was a great idea as it is revolved around image
the breakfast club is a movie from the 80's all the characters are stuck behind the images they represent here is some background knowledge for the movie

The Breakfast Club
Directed by John Hughes

Molly ringwald- the princess
Judd nelson- the rebel
Emilio Estevez- the jock
Anthony Michael hall- the nerd
Ally sheedy- the misfit

Song- image in movie- We are not alone by Karla Devito

We are not alone
Find out when your covers blown
There’ll be somebody there to break your fall
We are not alone
Cause when you cut down to the bone
We’re really no so different after all
After all
We are no alone.

Image quote

Dear Mr Vernon
We accept the fact that we had to sacrifice a whole Saturday in detention for what ever it is we did wrong
What we did was wrong
But we think you’re crazy to make us write an essay
Telling you who we think we are
What do you care?
You see us as you want to see us
In the simplest terms and most convient definitions
You see us as
A brain
A princess
A jock
A misfit
And a rebel
Correct?
This is how we seen each other at 7o’clock this morning

humor
Yeah I have a question
Does Barry manilow know that you raid his wardrobe?

“I heard a ruckus”
“Could you describe the ruckus sir?”

mess with bull, you get the horns

i got a great mark for my essay if you want to get my essay for help just send me a post

I just wrote up my related material today, it was Edvard the Scream.
I pretty much just analysed how the image can be seen to represent panic of human existence.

For example, it is evident through the blood red sky that this natural environment spreads fear and panic onto the "persona" (not sure what to call him any suggestions?) but is juxatposed from the man made railing and pathway that presents to the responder human existence.

I just pulled that out of my ass. It sounds ok I might use it.

sort of on the right track.... i use persona too btw you could also use caricature....

"fear and panic Into the persona"

maybe you should write something like...

"fear and panic into the persona which is reiterated/ emphasised by the structuring of the persona on the bridge, the pale colour of his anonymous face"

the use of darker, colours in thick swirled lines could represent Munchs state of mind, as he used a variety of drugs such as cocaine, alcohol and opium, connecting to depression, paronia and eventually, agrophobia. why it may be called the scream....but the dark colours could also represent the impact of Krakatoa which erupted in 1893, could have influenced his painting. These are then juxtaposed by the brighter colours symbolic of hope in his future, hope all the good stuff in other words..... the caricture is thus protecting himself from the infrasound waves being omitted.....

hope that makes sense....
