Can I have 2 related texts of the same text type?
I am doing As you like it (play) and wanted to do two novels as my RT?

I've done 2 poems as related texts and got an A-range mark. There's no rule saying you can't as long as you give, as mentioned above: broad and deep understanding of textual analysis.

Also, do you get marked down if you don't integrate your RT into your core text analysis?
The extent of my integration is limited to using words such as "likewise", followed by a whole paragraph on my RT after my set text paragraph. Is this okay?

Yes, it's fine. As long as you relate your text back to your core analysis.

To be honest, most attempts at combining texts in a paragraph look clunky.
