I am incapable of having a serious relationship. I haven't figured out exactly why yet.

maybe because in the other thread you pointed out you believe in lust rather than love? that might hinder a serious relationship from getting going :p

Yeah, I love my independance. And a lot of the time I enjoy being by myself with a book. A guy would kind of ruin that for me...
Hence, still single. And getting mightily annoyed with everyone who tries to set me up with guys, because apparently it's unhealthy to be still be single at 17

Being set up must be bloody annoying.

Back in year 7 it was also cruel. There was some guy who apparently liked me, and his friends literally dragged him, kicking and screaming, to me. My friends were also shoving me. I wanted to die.

1. What does your partner offer you that you didn't have before?

Wild sex

2. What do you offer your partner that they don't have?

Wild sex

3. What is it about your relationship that keeps you together?

Wild sex

4. Do you see your relationship going somewhere or are you just taking it day by day?

Together, not necessarily married though.

5. How did you meet your partner?

She asked me to her formal. Didn't know her, she just approached me. Very random.

6. How did you and you partner get to know one another better?

Eh, talk to her. Listen to her jibber about her everyday trivialities.

7. What do you do to keep things interesting?[/QUOTE]

I could say wild sex, but nah, we try different stuff together.

Lol, that happened to me in about year 7 or 8 too!
But it is pretty annoying. Although I have gotten very good with my selective deafness. :D

It's not unhealthy to be single at 17, you're still really young, but at the same time a boyfriend shouldn't ruin what you now enjoy. With the right person as your boyfriend you should still have time to yourself with a book. Of course, set ups aren't going to help the situation as they are not likely to be the 'right person,' imo.
Those are exactly my points. Most of the guys that have been 'attempted' set-ups are guys who I already know, ie they're in my group at school. And while I love them all to bits and would trust any one of them with my life, seeing any of them would kind of be like seeing an older brother. Just not right.

Maybe I shoudn't have said 'serious' relationship because I can't have a relationship at all. It's not that I don't believe in love because I could have a relationship with a girl if it was just about lust. I just keep second guessing my choices.

Not long ago I had an opportunity of something happening and I couldn't decide whether it is actually what I wanted or not. I must have changed my mind 10 times. And now that I have probably missed that chance I still can't decide whether I should have or shouldn't have.
