whenever my parents get involved in a car dilemma with another car, even if the dilemma is as small as someone overtaking them they will always comment on the person's race and argue whether that person was cheap vietnamese or chinese or if not asian they were a rude leb/aussie etc

sheesh kebab!

Tell them you have an internet boyfriend, and he lives in BoSville.

LOL.

I've always chosen to "behave" at such moments. Thick-skull-ed folk deserve minimal brain drain from us!

A year ago when I was *there*, my sisters (in their 20s) were told that "they had to (marry a bloke from there)".

Amazing schools of thought.

Like I said, try and maintain "minimal brain drain" over folk with short sighted views/schools-of-thought, with all due respect since it's your relative I am referring to.

When my nan came to visit me and my sister about a week ago, the first thing she said to my sister (who just turned 19) was "When I was your age I was already married, and pregnant", I was trying to withhold laughter, but I think my aunties heard.

Well the same thing happened to me the other day...

My auntie asked me if I was with any chicks yet...lol

I said no

Then she replied are you looking for any girlfriends...

I said no, not at the moment

then she goes well at least his honest...like farout whats that meant to imply...-_-

People like this should just shut up and mind their own business. I'ii get a GF when I am ready...then I'll let you know... XD...kinda hard for me to find a gf esp as I go to a all boys school...anyways when the time is right, everything just seems to fall in place by it self...GF will come sooner than later.

Oh my lordy, I used to get that question constantly when I was a bit younger.

The aunties would all crowd around me, asking me "so, do you have a boyfriend yet? what is he like? etc etc" I would just nod and smile and say whatever it took it shut them up. They never knew anything remotely concerning my private/personal life, just like they know nothing now.

I would always find a reason to be out the door when they all decided to come around.

"Let me take the dog for a walk"

"I need to go to Sarah's for, uh, homework"

"I'll go down the store and get some milk, Mum. You'll be having so many coffees tonight."

It always worked too, thankfully. If all elsed failed I would have to endure their half hour of questioning before escaping to my room.

And now they say: how is that boyfriend of yours?

I just smile and go find something to do before they ask any follow-up questions.
