What is the difference between reliability and validity?? I keep losing marks on this-particualrly titrations!

I also need help with assess and analyse kinds of questions

Just quickly (sorry I have to be out soon);

Reliability is referring to how well you measured things out and the accuracy to which you measured them (also the accuracy on the instruments themselves), if someone else were to follow your method would they get the exact same results etc.

Validity is how well your experiment tests the hypothesis.

Yep Cube has got it

There are generic ways to improve reliability of an experiment (you can be asked to do this)
ie. repeating the experiment, use better equipment, account for human error (ie stop watch or something)

Ok I get reliablity but validity is still annoying me, some examples of improving the validity of the experiment would be great!
