i need helpppp

i try renaming a folder and it says "Cannot rename XXXXXX: Access is denied"
so i went into the folder properties to check if "read only" was unchecked...and it was.

how can i rename the folder????? coz i cant add some mp3s onto Nero :(

Have you tried restarting?

It could be that something is still processing with respect to that folder, and won't allow you to make changes.

is something in that folder being run??? because this could stop you from renaming the folder. Other than that i can't think of anything else for the moment

nope...every program related to the file is closed.
and ive restarted my comp but with no luck.

anyway..i kinda solved the problem..i moved the mp3s to another folder and now i can burn them in Nero.

itll still be interesting if anyone knows why i couldnt rename the folder in the first place though..:confused:

Do you have admin access..? Because when I use the user account on my PC, it doesn't let me do anything to the files I created when I use admin..can't delete 'em, can't rename 'em..not sure whether that's it, though.

yeah if thats the problem, then u need win 2000 cd.
