subjects with yr 11 ranks:
bio 1/46
physics 1/21
chem 1/32
food tech 1/46
advanced english ???
advanced math 1/38

what marks do i need for a 95+ atar for entry into anu/unsw :eek2::eek2::eek2:

3 band 6's and 3 band 5's would be close to 95ish id say

thanks garry but year 12 is a fresh start! all ranks wiped clean.

are atar calculators accurate? dont want to get my hopes up...

Hey!

First, Congrats on your yr 11 ranks! Outstanding effort! :)

Now all you need to maintain is this effort of consistency in year 12. I trust that you know what you're doing in relation to studying and time management to receive such ranks in yr 11, so you must do the same, if not even better!

I don't know what your school rank is, the potential of your current cohort or the difficulty of your school assessments, so cannot really tell how you fair against the rest of the state at this point. However, getting first in all of your subjects (not too sure about english), puts you in a very good position to get 95+ if not higher.

At the end, make sure you realise that you are competing with the state. Although coming first in your school is commendable, please make sure you always push your self higher as your standard may be lower than people around the state!

All in all, keep to your goal, be consistent, continue effective study habits (assuming you DO) and always aim higher than you actually do now.
