Why do you guys get 'prizes', does any other subject give them out?

OMG, maybe the stupid sociology department should put some money together and give a prize! If archeology can scrape together 3 prizes, there's no excuse for sociology!
Excatly!

Sociologists must be too poor to put together prizes.

it's not usually the dept donating money, but alumni or companies. the e&b faculty ones are all donated by companies, for example.

edit: lol that spreadsheet doesnt say how much those prizes are worth

I'm disappointed because I was really hoping (and kind of expecting in my high hopes) to get a second HD ever. Then again, I'm pleased because it's the third subject where I've gotten a Distinction or higher.

Also, I'm disappointed with the timing of it because I was hoping it'd be released last as I knew it'd be my best subject. I swear I don't think they scale, because there's no way on Earth I did that well in the theory (I did averagely, like everyone else did), and I didn't get 3 Es in the prac exams, I don't have a perfect score in the continuous assessment, so yeah.

I know I sound really pessimistic, but I'm kinda disappointed I couldn't even hit an HD unscaled, because when I was in school I'd get high 80s eesy peezy. Now it's all downhill from here, and I sure hope there's not another fail facing me...
