Yay considering I crammed it all in the night before. :)

Waiting on one more result which I'm sure I didn't do well in. :(

Quick question: does the university inform the top achievers in courses, and, if so, when?

For degree: if you're in the top 15%, golden key will notify you
For each subject: - if there's a prize involved, you'll get notification with your results letter; if not, you can email the lecturer to see your ranking.

Still waiting on linguistics, and my Macquarie results don't come out untill the 18th. I'm bummed about ancient history, though - it's a decent mark, but I was really hoping for something higher.

I've still only got one mark back and it was 84 distinction. Is there anything I can do to get that extra mark such as emailing my lecture/tutor, or do I just have to accept it??? :-(

ENGL1025- not out yet (but i'm sitting on a comfy HD without the test)
PHIL1011- 71 (thought i was going to scrape a pass, rather happy with it actually)
FRNC1611- 78
HSTY 1025- 76

So a nice D average.

ember, one of my tutors said that there's a big gap between 84 and 85. An 84 means something's lacking, it's more than just a one mark difference.
Be happy with 84, it's still a great mark.

For WAM, are 1st year subjects taken in 2nd year still considered as 1st year weighting in the calculation?

The only number that matters is the first one in the code, that tells you the weighting.

I was so happy with my 56 for statistics...!! Its a shit mark, but at least I passed. I also passed Brain & Behaviour with 58... These are miracles when taking into account my a) lecture attendance b) assessment performance c) the very little I cared for the subjects. I told myself I'd drop psych if I failed, so now it doesnt look like I'm dropping psych :)

I'm waiting on English.... god its taking forever... I need a credit, if I don't get one, its as good as a fail- this is the only subject I cared about and they are fucking taking forever to release the results!
