Hey guys~

I just need a little help picking either the 15R or Adamo Admire (Pearl)

Adamo Admire (Pearl)
Intel® CoreTM 2 Duo processor SU9400(1.40GHz)
Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64 bit
2GB DDR3 SDRAM Memory
128GB2 Solid State Hard Drive

15R
Intel® Core™ i5-450M Processor (2.4GHz, 4Threads, turbo boost up to 2.66Ghz, 3M cache)Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64bit (English)
4GB (2 X 2 GB) 2 DIMM DDR3 1333Mhz
500GB 7200RPM Hard Drive
15.6 Widescreen HD WLED Glossy Display with TrueLife™ (1366x768)
ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5470 - 1GB

I really want to go with the Adamo because of its look, but I'm a little concerned about the 1.40 GHz..

I'm mainly going to use it for just office functions, perhaps with occasional movie.

So which would you recommend?

obviously the 15R. the adamo is just a wannabe macbook air and if you're going to buy technology based on looks, then you are a complete and utter tool who does not deserve it.

Yeah, I'm going to say get the 15R as well. The slow speed and low RAM of the adamo will eventually make you hate yourself for buying one, particularly if you intend to keep it for a few years. Hardware requirements of programs/operating systems aren't suddenly going to start dropping (or even stay level) over time.

Also, if you want a computer that's thin and aluminium, just buy a macbook (seriously, you can install windows on them, and the adamo is only trying to look like one). Just remember that there is always a compromise between thinness (and generally appearance), and specifications given a particular price.

Personally, I'd buy a Lenovo for that price. I've seen some of them in Youtube, they're much cheaper - like $500-600 but quite good quality.
