I would suggest Matrix for english since you're just in year 8 but for senior years I would suggest private or one-on-one instead because then the tutor can actually help you pinpoint your problems whether it may be lack of essay writing skills or lacking vocab etc.

Why would you get a tutor in year 8. Moreover, why would you study in year 8?

Normally I'm not one to judge one's individual circumstances, but in Year 8 I spent all my time eating, watching Heroes, playing Dota, watching/playing cricket, bumming around and doing literally no work.

It's really the best time of your life - screw tutoring, there's a time and place for it.
