I just read the information over and over again till it eventually gets in my head. XD kidding. I do bio, business and legal and what helps me for those subjects is breaking down what i have to learn instead of trying to ROTE learn it all at one time. Maybe try a mindmap????

Well hopefully you've been making summaries as you go because it saves a lot of time/stress at the end. Once you've got summaries I suggest reading them all out loud along with completing practice exams. Another good method is "teach the dog" in which you teach the content to either a pet/mirror/brother/sister, so basically just explain the content and major points as though you're talking to someone who has never studied the subject before. Hope this helped :)

I ROTE learn. I also tend to make notes before the exam. It helps.

What I found worked for me in Legal Studies was to learn to understand the content so that I knew why things were the way they were. That way I never really forgot anything and I had applicable knowledge at my disposal when a question was asking me about something.

And although it's a little different, I did a semester of Economics in Uni and got a HD for it and I took the same approach. It's more about understanding than memory when it comes to social sciences, I have found.
