This aboriginal woman shoved my friend across the pathway today.
We were just walking and talking, she was walking towards us and standing shoved my friend. This was at 9AM in the morning!

edit: redfern at night is pretty intimidating but imo stazi is right, i've seen more fights and stuff on george street past 12am. Just walk with confidence and (if you can't) in groups...or trail 10m behind an asian girl, they'll probably attack her first giving yourself the chance to escape >_>

first time i walkde to usyd via redfern.. wasn't too bad. there was a stream of uni students walking to and fro.

but if i were to get mugged when coming home
i'd pull out my kendo stick and whoop their asses !

They're pretty lazy our Redfern indigenous friends haha they beg but they just don't bother busking anymore, it's just sit down look like shit and give me some of your spare change. No effort whatsoever.

i live in redfern, and in my 18 years living there i have been approached by lads twice, and only attacked once, so take that

yeah, but which area of redfern do you live in? how large are you? also, being attacked even once is quite significant if you weren't provoking anyone and it wasn't too late.

i live right near prince alfred park (kinda close to central station) but the real area u have to look out for is waterloo, all kinds of fucked up shit happen in that place at night, technically i wasnt attacked in redfern, it was waterloo

Yeah, that's not really the bad area. And yes, the waterloo-redfern side is quite bad. My grandmother lives there. I refuse to walk in that area at night.

Hate walking through Redfern. I just get off at central and walk through that massive ass tunnel and catch a 42X at railway.


Redfern gives me nightmares =(

That tunnel actually scares me a bit very late at night (e.g. 1am on weekdays).

When I use internet explorer my other account pops up, but I don't log out because I've forgotten the password to this one aswell, so logging out is a little pointless. When I get onto firefox, which I prefer because it isn't lagfest 2050 when I open a new tab. I'm too lazy to do any sort of password retrival.

I decided to all of a sudden start using firefox =)





That tunnel is awesome. I love it when that guitarist is there. I always throw whatever I can at him. He is awesome.
