I got it last week, it's pretty good I guess. Probably the type of album I'll get sick of next week though.
Also, Brandon is a bit of an arrogant dickhead by coming out and saying it's "one of the best albums in the past twenty years" in Giant

It's pretty different to Hot Fuss. Just....yeah...different.

and yeah I could see Brandon saying that. Apparently he's a bit of cunt.

It's a bit different to hot fuss, then again most bands are changing.

Brandon Flowers:

"The sky used to be the limit, and it's not anymore. It's about 200 feet, and beyond that people think you're being comical. People ask me if we were trying to be funny with this record because it's big and exciting and confident. And my answer is, 'I don't think Beethoven was trying to be funny.' We're taking it seriously — we can laugh at ourselves, of course — but rock and roll used to be about not having limits, not having your box, and that's disappeared somewhere along the way. We're trying to bring it back."

I thought it had a more mature approach than hot fuss did. I quite enjoyed it but i think they're getting older and their music reflects that. On the other side, i enjoyed it just as much as hot fuss. Like their first album, i had to listen to it a few times before i started to like it.

Finding it hard to get into, I think its the production or the fact that the songs kinda seem weak, as opposed to the line up on Hot Fuss.

May get into it...
