OH maths was alright.
Don't want to jinx it though.
I thought I did well in the trials but i screwed them so bad..

You know the deposit one?
LOL, run me through what you guys did..
(with all of it)
I think I might've gotten abit confuzzled.

I think I subtracted the deposit before calculating the rest.

Yes, you were meant to move your compass out 5cm and draw an arc, repeat for point B, then shade in.

ahhhhh! i really wanted to get like 95+ in this but i think i only got about a band 5 or less,
MUCH harder than i expected but i guess it was fair nonetheless...

non-calulator was good, probably miss 1-4 marks here,
multiple choice was generally good, lose about 5-10 marks,
that correct incorrect thing = there's 5 of my marks gone guaranteed
written answers = bout 3-6 wrong

so using my maths adding skills

best i went is 86%

worst i went is 75% (damn...)

oh, does anyone know when the tests get posted on the board of studies website??

No, as there's an area in the middle which is more than 350m from points A and B. You need to use a compass to find where the arcs are.

I got 8:15 for the ratio.
I would put that. Don't you just make b in both the ratios the same by multiplying the whole ratio?
Is this year or last year's School Certificate easier? I heard the trials this year were harder.

however for the last one how it says if she lost or gained

i said gained lol

so yeah

another question in the non-calculator

explain why anle EFB=ABC sumthing like that

i measured it using a protractor and said tat they both measure 33 degrees
and showed the angles

would that be right?
ugh... i don't think your supposed to use a protractor cos it says use trigonometry i think. anyway i got 24 and 24 for that question.

Yeah, in any SC or HSC exam never assume anything is to scale unless it says so somewhere. I think I got 24.

It was only worth 1 mark.

This is what it should have looked like (roughly)

With the blue part being the part you should have shaded in.
