Yeah, but at my school to do Advanced or Extension English you have to get a certain mark in the SC...

It was about 75 at my school to get into advanced english.

All i did was go over past papers about 3 or 4 of them
Don't stress over English all that much, plus its only the SC!
There is no way of you failing unless all you do is write your name on the paper and not attempt any questions!

Haha same^ I got 79 in my trials, but 97 in SC Completely irrelevant now, as my SC is somewhere in my cupboard

seriously dont stress. the sc is no indication at all. I got 77% for my sc, then went on and did extension english for prelim. and scored 89% for my adv english trial. so i recon thats crap, because if u are going to do your hsc then the sc means shit all.

My sister's school does trials, but we never did. Our school always told us our yearlies were harder than the SC.

They were not wrong.

Haha. I remember that Q. It was basically asking for corny, cliched crap.

And really, obviously all us 08ers have the benefit of hindsight, but to the yr 10's, trust us when we say the SC pales into insignificance.

Oh, and yr 11 you have exams periods more hectic then the whole two school certificate years put together. Not to alarm anyone...
