So for one of my subjects, there are 3 ppl in the class. If I come 1st internally, and 1st externally, can my marks get affected by the other people???? I didn't think this was the case, but yesterday someone told me that my marks would get pulled down?!?!

Don't listen to that person. If you're first, and you achieve the highest external mark, then that is your mark.
Anyway, does it really matter? If you all perform well externally, then you'll all receive high marks. With such a small cohort, you should focus more on marks as a group, then worrying about scaling.
