guys i want to drop biology and do 10 units but my subjects are; pdhpe, cafs, hospitality, eng adv, maths stand
im scared that if i drop biology im gonna risk my atar and especially because hospitality scales down.
so i dont know what to do as i dont enjoy biology and it just feels like a burden
also if i reach past the breaking point in hospitality for example 90+, then it scaling and the people around me wont impact my atar right??
please someone give me advice asap im going insane thankq

as far as i know, every subject on your list except advanced english is getting scaled down to oblivion for the purposes of atar.

if you don't like biology, and the workload is stressing you out, drop it. scaling isn't enough to save a bad mark and it isn't enough to offset the indirect effects of taking a subject you don't like with a heavier workload.

again, to my knowledge the breaking point isn't any set mark. you either come first or are an outlier from your cohort else scaling affects you. for your subjects, even a 90 is going to get scaled down.

damn bio doesn't scale great in the first place but damn the scaling of the subjects you do is ass, maybe don't drop bio and drop one of the subjects with proper horrible scaling.
