hey i live in newcastle and there is great night life in the centre of town. most young people goo up there to have fun and show of their cars and stuff. where u staying?where u from? if you are 18 then we have many night clubs around.so yeh.

my friends parents have a wicked holiday house up there at swansea, but i'd say we will be in newi most of the time. theres like 8 of us coming up for a week from bathurst. only thing that sucks is i'll be the only one that'll be 18!! how rough are they on fake IDs up there? i'v used one on new years last year and didnt get caught... do you know of any parties happening around then so the underages can at least get one night out LOL

They are getting stricter with ID's and shit like that lately up here in Newy. I know a few people over the last few weeks getting busted by undercover cops with fakeys but on New Years, I think you will be safe.

U could alwayz stay @ a house in Port Stephens.

Yeah, Newcastle is a pretty sweet place in general. But seriously, I am pretty sure that most of the schoolies from newcastle will be vacating and going elsewhere for schoolies. I have a feeling it might be a bit dead in town as far as schoolies goes, however the usual crowd (minus schoolies) should be out I guess...

Newcastle can be pretty good.
It can also be pretty bad.
Dont' stick just to the CBD but go all over the place.
I'm sure there'll be shitloads of parties I can't wait.
