Don't worry about it. Even if you don't study for the SC you still do well (well I didn't study, neither did my 2 best mates and we got no less than bands 4, 5 and 6's) You will improve as you go on because you get use to working harder as the years progress and delegate your time more appropriately, but it's nothing to worry about...year 9, 10 and 11 are nothing compared to year 12!

Heh exactly what manifestation said.
Don't at all stress about the School Cert. Heh, I remember on the saturday before the exams, I stressed and then people told me not to study, and i 'didn't being the lazy sod i am, and i scored band 6 for english band 5 for maths and band 6 for science (and history and geo was a trial in my year , so we never actually got our restults) Don't worry about it. Half of the stuff isn't in your textbooks anyhow.

Just worry about your HSC.. thats when you can start stressing 4 months before the HSC :p

Don't worry too much, anyway you have a year to prepare if you really want to. But don't study your ass off, just study for your yearlies/trials and then revise a bit and you'll do fine ;)

(you know i honestly thought you were a year 9'er who was dreaming to go to usyd, so i thought that's why the banner was there HAHAHAHAHA!) WAIT I'm confused...so you're in uni??? But your profile says you're in high school...I'm confused lol.

serz its a breeze and you guys are even luckier.... youve had a third of the syllabus slashed from civics.... just to show how easy it was our teacher didnt bother telling us anything about women or aborigines (and focused on vietnam war so we werent fussed) and without much study i still scored a band 6 in it =] as for geo total bs also got me a band 6 =]

its not like the School Certificate is actually worth remembering ...
it marks the end of your last year of bludging...or the beginning of the most bludging...but only for a last month :(

anywho, i thought sc was ok, i mean, if you half-listened in science classes then you'd do fine for the science test, the maths one was real easy (you can do it in primary i thought :p), english, basically skills, so you can't really study for that apart from building it up day by day, so it's pretty much just history/geo that you'd actually need to remember stuff for. just do notes as you go - i find it quite helpful :D (but not like one week before the tests...heh...that wouldn't go into your brain...much. :p)

It's all lies!

Don't get the impression its easy.

I found it to be on a similar scale to my yearly exams, however I didn't study for my yearly exams and got pretty shit there...
