This is based on average merit list mentions per student I think...the most accurate measurement of school performance aside from the UAI, which we'll never know entirely (since schools and the media arent given this info)

omg homebush boys is at the bottom. i had this friend before who went there and he came last in everything in homebush boys.

Our highest this year was 98.45. Last year, it was 99.05.

thats tru but u know some schools.... (private and selective) realli care about how they slaughter the othr schools.... when in the end, you go to uni not ur school!

I agree.

You don't need to go to a selective school to get in the high 90s for your UAI. I couldn't care less if my school has a crap rank; I got the UAI I needed to get into my first preference and a fair few people got in the high 90s. Selective schools are clearly ranked higher because it is a selective school. But an average government school consist of various students who are not all "intellectually" capable, hence resulting in a "not- so- great" rank.
