Re: What school you at?

No teacher would call me by name. It just sounds too....awkward?

As if they will call me, "Come here, Lyoo". Some people don't even know how to pronounce that last time!

I reckon Namu is more friendly though - damn, I love my name so much.

LOL most teachers call me by my first name... unless I'm in trouble :p
Most teachers call me Thomas, some call me Tom, and despite the fact that I hate the name Tom (no offense Tommykins), I usually let teachers slide. Students on the other hand....I'll tell them off for using Tom or Tommy.

LOL I get that a lot as well. Teachers tend to call me 'Nath', but I don't mind it - sounds better than being called by my last name.

Re: What school you at?

My teachers have problems with both my first and last names because my last name comes first on the roll and is 14 letters long they find it hard to pronounce it and then they only gt the first 3 letter of my name because theres no space to fit my name!!!! so ye!

Re: What school you at?

I know my English teacher, who I didn't think was too technologically savvy (sorry Ms Boukatos :p), found one of my English essays which I had uploaded onto the resource section. Scared the daylights outta me when she asked me to stay back behind cause she wanted to talk to me about something (I thought I was in trouble).

LOL! My teachers tell me the opposite: 'If you d/l from the BoS resources page you're trusting that someone else's work is right, when they're not!'

Yeah, my teachers lurk on here. I remember my English Extension 1 teacher once said in class: 'Who wrote to the BoS site asking for help on their Dracula essay?' Of course it wasn't anyone from our class, but I was quite surprised that she was lurking around.

Hello to Ms Karadimas! I'm sorry if I keep on bagging out English Extension .. I promise to read those booklets you gave us even though I'm dropping it :shy:

Our teachers don't recommend us downloading essays and stuff - just some of the notes to ASSIST us in creating our own notes, also the BOS is a good source for mathematics resources, and the more maths the better.... right?

51st is pretty decent... I mean I think my school's pretty decent and we're only 126 - but we're gonna drop heaps this year.
