How can i test the factors affectign bounce height of a ball...and how could i measure it?

Surface the ball is landing on(eg cement, tar, dirt, grass, wooden floor), type of ball size etc. You could measure the number of times the ball bounces. or the time the ball takes to hit the ground from a certain height etc.

Maybe also take into consideration the temperature of the ball and surface it's landing on e.g: if it's a rubber ball it might bounce differently to one not rubberised on a hot day because it expands.

You could measure it manually by getting a very long ruler (not sure if you can get rulers longer than 1m) and standing it straight up against a wall, dropping your different balls from a constant height and reading off the height that it bounces. Make sure your eye is in line with the ruler and ball so you don't get a "parallax error".
