I'm not really one to make threads, but I thought, best ask before I get into strife tomorrow.
Does anyone have a list of all the formulas for the actual HSC syllabus and the scientists who contributed/named the formulas?
My issue is that I can apply the formulas, but I always forget the names and that, so if they say, using Lenz Law, or Keplers or someone else and find this and this... my issue is, I haven't learn the formulas enough with the names attached to them.

Can anyone lend a hand?

It's not the sort of thing many people would have

What I'd do is print out the formula sheet, and then go through your text book and find the scientists associated with each formula. By now you should be able to recognise formulas so it shouldnt be too hard to find it in your text book.

Alternatively, you could go through your text book and every time you see a scientists name you can write down their formula(s). The best way to learn is by actually doing it yourself, because you will also absorb some of the other information.

It shouldn't take more than half an hour cos there's not really many formulas in hsc physics

yea, i think i'll do that, just going through a few more physics questions first from past papers, when i get sick of it (which should be soon :p), i'll go through and see what i can find. Thanks for the suggestions.

If anyone else has any suggestions on quick way to learn (and yes, doing it yourself is probably the best), i would love to hear them.

Yeah. I printed a big A3 copy of the formula sheet hung it on my wall. I stuck post-it notes next to every formula explaining how to use it.

(Well I kinda forgot about it so it hasn't helped that much. I do encourage 07ers to that though.)
